AbbVie is seeking a 6‑month Co‑Op in Analytical Development at its Waltham, MA site, offering hands‑on experience in biologics characterization, method development, and data analysis within a fast‑paced biopharmaceutical environment.

The role emphasizes chromatographic and MS-based techniques, cross‑functional collaboration, and documentation practices. You must be enrolled in a related Master’s program and committed to July–December.

Qualificações

• Currently enrolled in a university pursuing a Master’s degree in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, chemical engineering, or a related field.
• Must be enrolled in university for at least one semester following the co-op.
• Expected graduation date between May 2028 – Dec 2028.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a laboratory and cross-functional team environment.
• Willingness to learn new analytical techniques and follow established laboratory safety and documentation practices.
• Must be able to commit to a 6-month program at AbbVie’s site located in Waltham, MA (July - December).

Responsabilidades

• Supporting the development and evaluation of analytical methods for biologics characterization, with a focus on chromatographic and mass spectrometry-based techniques.
• Performing laboratory experiments, including sample preparation, instrument operation, and data collection, under appropriate guidance.
• Analyzing and interpreting experimental data to identify trends, differences across process conditions, and potential product quality attributes.
• Supporting characterization of ADCs, or other complex biologic molecules using techniques such as LC-MS, and related analytical platforms.
• Assisting with the development of efficient analytical screening workflows to support process development and sample comparison.
• Organizing, visualizing, and summarizing analytical results for technical discussions, presentations, and project updates.
• Collaborating with analytical, process development, and other cross-functional teams to support project objectives.
• Maintaining accurate experimental records and follow established laboratory procedures and safety requirements.
