These full-time, onsite roles provide hands-on experience in LC-MS, MSI, ELISA, and protein characterization within ABMS, Assay Development, and R&D Chemistry teams. Co-ops will develop and apply analytical methods for therapeutic proteins and biotherapeutics, contribute to data processing, and present findings to the analytical sciences team

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate degree and returning to school after the position.
• Commitment to 40 hours per week during the specified January-August, May-June-December, or August-December terms.
• Demonstrated leadership in campus, clubs, sports, work, or community activities.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and run LC-MS, MSI, and related methods to characterize therapeutic proteins and bioconjugates.
• Apply fragmentation techniques such as CID and ExD to characterize conjugated payloads.
• Use CE-MS and iCIEF to characterize protein charge variants.
• Build reference databases and spectral libraries; process and interpret MS data.
• Run high-throughput proteomics workflows with DIA and perform FDR-controlled database searching.
• Develop and evaluate platform immunoassays including ELISA and Western blot for preclinical/clinical studies.
• Support ADC development using conjugation chemistries, chromatography, and peptide mapping; compare across modalities.
• Document procedures and present findings to the analytical sciences team.
