Job summary

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc (USA) is seeking a Co-op to gain hands-on experience in analytical biochemistry. You will develop LC-MS and MSI methods to characterize therapeutic proteins and biomarkers, and you will work with DIA-based proteomics workflows in a collaborative team.

You will also contribute to immunoassays like ELISA and western blot, and support ADC development through various conjugation chemistries while documenting results for the team.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate degree and returning to school after the position.
• Able to commit to 40 hours per week during each term.
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and run LC-MS and MSI methods to characterize therapeutic proteins, bioconjugates, and biomarkers.
• Apply mass spectrometry fragmentation techniques, including CID and ExD, to characterize conjugated payloads.
• Use CE-MS and iCIEF to characterize protein charge variants.
• Build reference databases and spectral libraries, and process MS data to validate structures.
• Run high-throughput proteomics workflows using DIA with FDR control.
• Develop and evaluate platform immunoassays, including ELISA and western blot.
• Support the development and purification of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs).
• Document procedures and present findings to the analytical sciences team.
