Job summary

Biogen in Cambridge, MA, seeks a motivated co-op to join the Analytical Development Biologics group for a 6-month internship from July to December 2026. You will develop and optimize LC-MS based methods to characterize and quantify host cell proteins in biologics and provide decision-enabling information to the process development and cross-functional teams.

Eligible students must be enrolled and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience with sample preparation techniques for mass-spectrometry based proteomics approaches
• Hands-on experience with mass-spectrometry instruments and associated high performance liquid chromatography
• Familiarity with common proteomics software tools, such as Proteome Discoverer,MaxQuantand Skyline
• To participate in Biogen Internship or Co-op Program, students must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize LC-MS based methods to characterize and quantify host cell proteins in biologics.
• Execute the developed LC-MS HCP method to provide decision-enabling information to the process development and other cross-functional teams.
