Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a motivated student for a 6-month Co-Op in Worcester, MA, within the Bioprocess Development & Launch (BDL) group. You will contribute to cell line development and supporting biologics manufacturing through ddPCR, sequencing, and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s degree in Cell/Molecular Biology or related field.
• Must be enrolled at the university during the Co-Op.
• Must commit to a 6-month program at AbbVie’s Worcester, MA location.
• Expected graduation date between May 2028 – Dec 2028.

Responsibilities

• Perform cell culture activities including maintenance, transfection, and FACS.
• Characterize cell lines using ddPCR and sequencing analyses.
• Assist in experimental design, data interpretation, and documentation.
• Communicate research progress through concise reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with the Cell Line Development and cross-functional teams.
• Maintain lab productivity and support 5S program compliance.
