Sheridan Ohio is hiring a Manufacturing Technician-Bindery for the day shift (7a–7p), full-time. You will operate and maintain high-speed bindery equipment, train crew, and ensure quality throughout production for books and printed materials.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with ability to operate and maintain bindery equipment.
• Read basic job instructions and measurements accurately.
• Strong math and numerical skills relevant to production.
• Team player with leadership potential to guide crew.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on feet.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain the Perfect Binder efficiently.
• Oversee performance and training of crew members.
• Train Assistant Operator and other crew as needed.
• Delegate work and assign duties to crew.
• Customize orders to specifications.
• Maintain quality and quantity standards.
• Handle related paperwork and forms.
• May handle hazardous waste as part of daily duties.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
