Job summary

Sheridan Ohio is hiring a Manufacturing Technician-Bindery to operate and maintain high-speed bindery equipment on a day shift from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. This full-time role offers competitive pay and overtime opportunities as part of a growing print manufacturing team.

You'll set up the Perfect Binder, train crew members, and ensure quality and efficiency while following safety protocols and paperwork requirements. No prior binding experience required—we will train the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical and mathematical skills.
• Able to read decimals, sizes, and production specs.
• Willing to learn bindery equipment.
• Must be a reliable team member and capable of leading when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform set up, operation and maintenance of the Perfect Binder.
• Oversee performance and training of crew members.
• Train Assistant Operator and other crew.
• Delegate work and assign duties to crew members.
• Customize orders to specifications.
• Maintain quality and production standards.
• Complete paperwork and forms.
• May handle hazardous waste as part of daily functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
