Job summary

Sheridan Ohio, part of the Sheridan Group, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician-Bindery for the day shift (7a–7p). We’ll train you to run high-speed bindery equipment and build a long-term career in print manufacturing.

You’ll set up the binder, supervise crew, and ensure quality while handling paperwork and safety tasks. Join a stable, full-time team with overtime opportunities, comprehensive benefits after 30 days, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Experience with bindery or similar machine operation preferred.
• Ability to read decimals and measurements and perform basic math.
• Strong attendance and reliability with teamwork capability.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the Perfect Binder.
• Oversee the work performance and training of assigned crew members.
• Train Assistant Operator and other crew members.
• Delegate/Assign work duties to assigned crew members.
• Customize orders to specifications/requirements.
• Maintain quality and quantity standards.
• Complete processes related to paperwork and forms.
• May handle hazardous waste as a part of daily job functions.
• Other duties assigned by management.
