Job summary

Sheridan New Hampshire, part of the Sheridan Group, is hiring two team members for a full-time bindery assistant role. You’ll be trained to operate high-speed bindery equipment; no prior bindery experience needed.

The position offers Monday–Friday evenings with overtime opportunities. You’ll work on cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders, monitor quality, hit daily production goals, and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

• No bindery experience? We’ll train you.
• Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.).
• Mechanically inclined and able to use basic tools.
• Ability to read basic job instructions and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate and set up bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, perfect binders).
• Keep machines running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality.
• Work with a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards.
• Troubleshoot minor issues to keep production moving.
• Follow safety procedures and keep a clean workspace.
