RRD Company is seeking a skilled Bindery Operator for a full-time day shift in the Durham, NC area. You will set up and adjust binding equipment, operate bindery systems, and supervise crew to ensure quality and productivity across multiple stations.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of setup and adjustment of bindery equipment.
• Knowledge of paper weights, sizes, and colors to adjust machines.
• Ability to use hand tools and standard/specialized tools to maintain machines.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions for machine operations.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate a variety of auxiliary binding machines.
• Inspect equipment for safety issues.
• Operate perfect binders with multiple stations to bind and deliver books/catalogs.
• Make adjustments to coordinate multiple work stations on a single machine.
• Direct crew through all aspects of production.
• Monitor quality, output and productivity.
