A Bindery Operator in Durham, NC will set up and adjust binding machines, inspect safety, and coordinate production to ensure quality and efficiency.

You will oversee operations, direct the crew, monitor output, and help maintain high standards in a fast-paced print environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of binding, folding, collating, and cutting of printed materials.
• Ability to adjust machines for different paper weights and sizes.
• Capability to use hand tools and maintain equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate binding machines and related equipment.
• Inspect machines for safety and performance and adjust as needed.
• Operate adhesive binders with multiple stations and coordinate work flow.
• Coordinate multiple stations on a single machine.
• Direct crew through all production aspects.
• Monitor quality, output and productivity.
