RRD Company in Durham, NC is hiring for a Bindery Specialist to set up and run various bindery and finishing machines, ensuring quality and efficiency. You will direct the crew and monitor multiple workstations, adjusting as needed to meet production goals.

Experience with automatic bindery equipment and knowledge of paper stock is required. The role offers competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package through RRD.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret written work orders or other job specifications containing bindery requirements.
• Must be able to calculate distances, clearances, and fits in combining machines.
• Skill in using the full range of standard and specialized tools and devices to adjust bindery machines.
• Knowledge of set up and operating requirements of one or more bindery machines.

Responsabilités

• Set up, adjust and operate a variety of auxiliary binding machines with multiple heads and attachments.
• Set up automatic bindery machines with multiple functions to produce final books and catalogs.
• Inspect equipment for safety and monitor quality, output and productivity.
• Direct crew through production and coordinate multiple work stations on a machine.
