B&I Contractors, Inc. is seeking a BIM/VDC Coordinator - Plumbing to lead model-based outputs for MEP systems and ensure constructible, standards-compliant documentation.

The role collaborates with Project Management, Field Operations, and other trades to keep coordination aligned with project goals. Qualified candidates bring 4+ years in BIM/VDC, strong Revit and Navisworks skills, and a proactive approach to workflow and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 4+ years in BIM/VDC, mechanical detailing, or MEP coordination.
• Experience producing coordinated mechanical models and construction-ready deliverables.
• Experience on commercial/industrial mechanical projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate BIM models for mechanical systems per standards.
• Lead model updates, clash resolution, and coordination with teams.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to Detailers and Trainees.
• Support fabrication readiness and record documentation.
• Ensure model deliverables align with schedule and scope.
