B&I Contractors, Inc. is seeking a BIM/VDC Coordinator - Plumbing to lead model-based outputs for MEP systems on commercial projects in Florida. You will coordinate with Project Management, Field Operations, and trades to ensure constructible deliverables, clashes are resolved, and schedules are met.

The role requires 4+ years in BIM/VDC, proficiency in Revit and Navisworks, and strong coordination skills. We offer health insurance, vacation, wellness benefits, ESOP, and a strong growth path.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or GED; preferred associate degree or technical certificate in drafting, BIM, or engineering tech.
• 4+ years in BIM/VDC, mechanical detailing, or MEP coordination on complex projects.
• Experience producing coordinated mechanical models and construction-ready deliverables.
• Experience on commercial/industrial projects (healthcare, schools, government).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate, coordinated BIM models for mechanical systems per standards and project needs.
• Lead model updates from coordination meetings and design changes.
• Perform clash detection and communicate conflicts and resolutions to teams.
• Ensure model structure, file organization, version control, and consistency through the lifecycle.
