A mechanical and plumbing contractor is looking for a VDC / BIM Modeler to enhance mechanical piping and plumbing projects through precise building models. This role involves collaboration with managers and engineers to improve project efficiency and constructability. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, with strong BIM tool skills, particularly in Revit and AutoCAD, and capable of effective communication across various disciplines. Qualifications
Experience working in mechanical systems VDC and BIM environments.
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, familiarity with Navisworks and Bluebeam.
Strong understanding of mechanical piping, plumbing systems, and construction processes.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
Responsibilities
Develop BIM models for mechanical piping and plumbing systems.
Coordinate mechanical models with other trades for design alignment.
Perform clash detection using Navisworks and resolve conflicts.
Produce construction drawings and schedules from BIM models.
Skills
