Job summary

W.J. O'Neil Company is seeking a BIM/VDC specialist to model piping, plumbing and HVAC systems in Revit and to coordinate with Navisworks or Revizto. The role includes publishing updates to Stratus, preparing construction documents, and ensuring fabrication is aligned with project requirements.

Ideal candidates will have deep BIM expertise, strong attention to detail, and effective communication to collaborate with design, fabrication and field teams.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Revit for BIM modeling.
• Expertise in CADmep / CAMduct with ITM database.
• Knowledge of Stratus in fabrication lifecycle.
• Strong skills with Robotic Total Station and Trimble FieldPoints for AutoCAD.
• Experience creating construction and fabrication drawings.
• Clash detection & coordination using Navisworks or Revizto.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication for team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed Revit models for piping, plumbing and HVAC duct systems.
• Lead/project coordination using Navisworks or Revizto.
• Publish model updates to Stratus and assign fabrication statuses.
• Place and export layout point files for Trimble FieldLink and Robotic Total Station.
• Prepare construction documents for layout, install and turnover purposes.
• Review and modify designs per fabrication standards and stakeholder feedback.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and approved submittals.
• Assist in coordinating project timelines and deliverables.
