M. J. Electric, LLC, a Quanta Services company, seeks a BIM/VDC Lead to bridge design intent and field execution, translating drawings and 3D models into standardized docs for installation teams.

You will coordinate with project teams, detailers, and foremen through design review, clash resolution, mark-up, prefabrication and on-site implementation. Responsibilities include managing Revit models, conducting clash analyses, standardizing mark-up procedures, and supporting takeoff and scheduling.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of BIM/VDC coordination experience.
• Electrical detailing or field leadership experience.
• Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks and Bluebeam is required.
• Strong communication across design, engineering and field teams.

Responsibilities

• Review design documents and coordination models for constructability and NEC code compliance.
• Manage 3D Revit models for BIM coordination and perform clash detection.
• Develop and maintain standardized mark-up procedures for field drawings.
• Export and manipulate data to support estimating, takeoff, and prefabrication planning.
• Train foremen and field teams on BIM deliverables and mark-up standards.
• Stay current on BIM/VDC tools and recommend workflow improvements.
• Handle special projects as assigned.
