M.J. Electric is seeking a BIM/VDC Lead to bridge design intent with field execution. You will translate drawings and models into clear documentation for installation crews, coordinating with project teams and foremen throughout design, clash resolution, mark‑up, and field implementation.

You will lead 3D Revit coordination, standardize mark‑ups with Bluebeam, and support takeoff and prefabrication planning while exploring new BIM technologies for workflow improvements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive BIM/VDC coordination experience, electrical detailing or field leadership.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu, Revit and Navisworks.
• Strong communication and collaboration across design, engineering and field teams.

Responsabilités

• Design-to-field coordination: review design docs, specs and third‑party models for constructability and NEC compliance.
• Model 3D Revit models for BIM coordination and perform clash detection to reduce field errors.
• Develop standardized Bluebeam mark‑up procedures for shop drawings and prefabrication packages.
• Support estimating, takeoff and prefabrication planning with data exports.
• Train foremen and field teams on BIM deliverables and reading coordinated drawings on site.
• Evaluate BIM/VDC tech (Dynamo, AI takeoff tools) and suggest workflow improvements.
