M. J. Electric, LLC, a Quanta Services company, is seeking a BIM/VDC Lead to bridge design intent and field execution. You’ll translate drawings and 3D coordination models into standardized docs for installation crews, partnering with project teams from design review to field implementation.

Bring 7+ years in BIM/VDC, a relevant degree, and proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam. Lead coordination, train foremen, and evaluate new BIM tools to improve workflows.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of progressive BIM/VDC coordination experience in electrical projects.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, CAD, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of NEC code requirements and project life cycle.

Aufgaben

• Design-to-field coordination review and resolve constructability issues.
• Manage detailed 3D Revit models and BIM coordination with clash detection.
• Standardize mark-ups and takeoffs for field construction packages.
• Support estimating, takeoff, and prefabrication planning with data export.
• Train foremen and field teams on BIM deliverables and mark‑up standards.
• Evaluate new BIM tools and workflows to improve department efficiency.
