Job summary

M. J. Electric, LLC seeks a skilled BIM/VDC Lead in Minooka, IL to bridge design intent and field execution, translating drawings and 3D models into clear installation documentation.

You will coordinate with project teams, detailers and foremen during design review, clash resolution, mark-up standardization, and takeoff planning, leveraging Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam, Dynamo, and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years of BIM/VDC coordination, electrical detailing, or field leadership.
• Proficient in BIM tools and coordination with design and field teams.

Responsibilities

• Design-to-field coordination and constructability review with NEC compliance.
• Manage 3D Revit models and perform clash detection to minimize rework.
• Develop and enforce mark-up standards and takeoff data for fabrication.
• Export data to support estimating, takeoff, and prefabrication planning.
• Train foremen and field teams on deliverables and coordinated drawings.
• Evaluate new BIM/VDC tools and recommend workflow improvements.
• Handle special projects and additional duties as assigned.
