Job summary

Stantec is seeking a BIM Technician to join our US West team to support architectural and multidisciplinary engineering projects. You will develop coordinated BIM/CAD documentation, run clash detection, and maintain BIM standards across industrial, manufacturing, and facility projects.

You will collaborate with architects, engineers, BIM specialists, project managers, and digital delivery professionals to deliver accurate models and construction documents throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years using Revit and/or AutoCAD.
Experience coordinating architectural and engineering disciplines in AEC projects.
Knowledge of BIM standards and digital delivery workflows.

Responsibilities

Set up, maintain, and update Revit models and AutoCAD drawings per BEPs and standards.
Produce 2D docs and coordinated 3D BIM models with multidisciplinary integration.
Translate markups and comments into accurate deliverables.
Support BIM deliverables throughout the project lifecycle, including coordination and documentation control.
Coordinate models with structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and process disciplines.
Assist with model health monitoring, templates, and family content development.
Support BIM-based deliverables including visualization, quantity takeoffs, and data extraction.
Participate in clash detection and interdisciplinary coordination using Revit, Navisworks, ACC.
Contribute to QA/QC and ensure compliance with BIM standards.
