Job summary

IMEG Corporation is seeking a Virtual Design Coordinator in Germantown, MD. You will oversee BIM projects, act as the BIM lead for the project team, and ensure standards compliance across disciplines.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams on government, healthcare, research, and secure facility projects while maintaining project budgets and client expectations. This is a full-time in-office role with 100% ESOP ownership.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum experience, 3 preferred, or equivalent.
• Revit experience required; strong project setup and model management.
• Ability to troubleshoot Revit/design software issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication with all levels of colleagues and clients.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• High level of professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with project managers to determine model setup configuration and understand project scope requirements.
• Attend project meetings with clients and consultants, including BIM project kickoff meetings.
• Manage project folder organization, file sharing, and file archival between internal disciplines and external partners.
• Provide team specific support for Virtual Design software/programs, escalating as needed.
• Identify training and education needs for BIM standards and tools.
• Review working models and PDFs for compliance with modeling and documentation standards.
• Complete model maintenance and apply best practices and standards.
• Run clash detection reports and participate in BIM coordination processes.
• Coordinate models and workflows between design team members within budget.
