Job summary

Intermountain Electric, Inc. (IME) is seeking a Design Technology Coordinator to bridge BIM VDC detailers and leads, ensuring coordinated, high-quality models and consistent project standards.

This role facilitates cross-team communication and supports model management and clash detection across projects. The position requires proficiency with Autodesk Revit and Navisworks, strong collaboration with architects and field teams, and mentoring of junior BIM staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Experience coordinating BIM models across disciplines and teams.
• Proficiency with BIM VDC tools and cloud collaboration platforms.
• Experience supporting large-scale electrical construction projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute BIM VDC processes on projects and maintain BEPs.
• Manage coordination models and perform clash detection across trades.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and field teams; lead coordination meetings.
• Mentor BIM VDC Detailer I/II staff and support onboarding and training.
