Job summary

Upsun, a cloud platform for hybrid teams, seeks an Enterprise Billing Systems Architect to own and optimize our Q2C infrastructure. You will translate pricing and accounting rules into reliable system logic while collaborating with Finance, Product, and Engineering on scalable, compliant billing.

You will lead data integrity, API integrations, and revenue recognition, shaping pricing models and automations for global usage. A remote, diverse team welcomes candidates globally.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience configuring enterprise billing platforms.
• Strong SQL for querying, auditing, and validation of data.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, and ETL workflows.
• Experience with complex SaaS/infrastructure pricing models.
• Understanding of ASC 606 / IFRS 15 revenue recognition.
• Ability to bridge engineering and accounting with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Own and configure BillingPlatform catalogs, price cards, and usage rules.
• Maintain platform health: updates, bill-run troubleshooting, data sync.
• Validate data ingestion and perform rate auditing with engineering.
• Manage API integrations to Salesforce, NetSuite, Stripe, etc.
• Ensure rev rec rules align with ASC 606 and IFRS 15 standards.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Sales Ops, and Product teams.
