Job summary

Ledgent Finance & Accounting in Chino, CA is seeking a Billing Leader to oversee daily billing operations for project-based and hourly client work. You will supervise the billing team, review invoices for accuracy, and ensure compliance with contract terms.

You'll partner with Project Managers, Accounting, and Operations to resolve discrepancies, drive month-end processes, and strengthen internal controls. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in billing or project accounting and prior supervisory

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Deltek experience.
• 5 years of billing or project accounting experience.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Previous Billing Supervisor or Senior Billing experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support daily billing activities.
• Guide and mentor billing team members.
• Ensure invoices are processed accurately and on time.
• Prepare and review client invoices for accuracy.
• Verify billing complies with contract requirements.
• Review labor, expenses, billing rates, and project phases.
• Partner with Project Managers to resolve billing questions.
• Work with Accounting and Operations to address discrepancies.
• Assist with invoice adjustments, credits, and corrections.
• Monitor unbilled revenue, billing holds, and outstanding items.
• Support month-end billing and Accounts Receivable processes.
• Help maintain efficient billing procedures and internal controls.

What You'll Be Doing

Billing Leadership
