Job summary

ICF is seeking a detail-oriented billing professional in Reston, VA to prepare and review monthly invoices in line with contract requirements. You will analyze unbilled receivables, resolve billing inquiries, and support collections while coordinating with Project Accounting and program staff.

The role requires experience with Deltek Costpoint billing, Excel (VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables), Cognos, and the ability to manage a high volume of invoices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounting/Finance experience.
• 6 months+ Costpoint 7 or later.
• HS Diploma.
• Experience using Deltek Costpoint billing module.
• Experience using VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables in Excel.
• Experience using Cognos for reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS 365.
• Ability to process a high volume of invoices monthly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly invoices according to company guidelines and contract requirements.
• Analyze unbilled receivables monthly against standard Costpoint reports.
• Research and resolve billing inquiries and discrepancies.
• Assist in collection efforts and resolving collection issues.
• Produce indirect rate variance invoices as required.
• Collaborate with Project Accounting, Program Managers, Project Financial Controllers, and Contract Managers to ensure invoice accuracy and completeness.
• Work independently and cross-functionally; multi-task with minimal supervision.
