Fire Systems of Michigan, LLC in Novi, MI is seeking a Billing Specialist to manage customer invoices, handle portal uploads, and address billing inquiries in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with service, sales, and accounting teams to ensure accurate invoicing, monitor accounts receivable, and support month-end close while delivering exceptional customer service.

This hourly position offers negotiable pay based on experience and quarterly bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in billing or accounts receivable.
• Experience with invoicing software and accounting systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsabilités

• Generate and issue accurate invoices for services rendered.
• Upload invoice information to portals and internal systems.
• Provide summary invoices and reports for large customers.
• Review service orders and contracts to ensure proper billing.
• Act as the primary contact for billing questions.
• Enter billing data into company systems and monitor aging.
• Reconcile discrepancies with internal teams.
• Assist in month-end and year-end close processes.
• Support accounts receivable collections and payment follow-up.
