MPAXX is seeking a Billing Specialist to join our growing team. The role focuses on preparing and processing customer invoices, ensuring accuracy, and supporting month-end close.

Collaboration with Accounting, Operations, and customer-facing teams is essential to resolve billing issues and improve processes. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in billing or accounting, strong data entry and Excel skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Two years of billing, accounts receivable, or accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, including data entry.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to calculate figures, research discrepancies, and resolve issues.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to prioritize work and manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and within deadlines.
• Review customer information, service details, rates, and supporting documentation.
• Distribute invoices and completed reports.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies and questions.
• Process credit memos, rebills, and adjustments with documentation.
• Maintain accurate billing records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with billing reconciliations and month-end close.
