Thermosystems in Elmhurst, IL is seeking an accounting support specialist to handle daily AP/AR invoicing, bi-monthly check runs, and billing-related decisions. You will interact with management and customers, enter expenses, and assist the service department.

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in an accounting related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in the accounting field.
• Highschool diploma or GED is required.
• Must have background using Microsoft 365 Suite.

Responsibilities

• Processes AP/AR invoices and billing daily.
• Complete bi-monthly AP check runs.
• Uses judgment to make decisions on significant accounting items dealing with billing.
• Communicate with management and customers on issues revolving around billing.
• Enters Utility and Employee expenses.
• Assist Service Department with invoicing.
• Complete credit memo log and audit monthly.
• Complete a weekly shipment audit.
• Communicate with sales team on a regular basis.
• All other duties assigned.
