Job summary

Thermosystems, LLC, headquartered in Elmhurst, IL, is seeking an accounting professional to manage AP/AR invoices, daily billing, and related finance activities for our HVAC operations.

This role works with management, customers, and the service department on billing, entry of expenses, and monthly audits. A degree in accounting is preferred and prior accounting experience is required; a competitive benefits package is offered.

Responsibilities

• Process AP/AR invoices and daily billing.
• Complete bi-monthly AP check runs.
• Communicate with management and customers on billing issues.
• Enter Utility and Employee expenses.
• Assist Service Department with invoicing.
• Complete credit memo log and audit monthly.
• Complete a weekly shipment audit.
• Communicate with sales team regularly.
• All other duties assigned.

Responsibilities

• Processes AP/AR invoices and billing daily.
• Complete bi-monthly AP check runs.
• Uses judgment to make decisions on significant accounting items dealing with billing, credit, etc.
• Communicate with both management and customers on issues revolving around billing.
• Enters Utility and Employee expenses.
• Assist Service Department with invoicing.
• Complete credit memo log and audit monthly.
• Complete a weekly shipment audit.
• Communicate with sales team on a regular basis.
• All other duties assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in an accounting related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in the accounting field.
• Highschool diploma or GED is required.

The typical hourly rate for this position ranges from $27.00 - $29.80 / hr. in Illinois. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade in which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including verification of employment history, education, background screening, and drug testing where permitted by law. Safety-sensitive positions may require cannabis (marijuana) testing. All testing and employment decisions will comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
