Job summary

Industrial Electric Supply (IES) is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing operations in a wholesale electrical distribution environment. This role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and problem-solving as part of The Will Group family of companies.

You will manage vendor records in Epicor Eclipse, process invoices and payments, review statements, monitor aging, and collaborate with Accounting, Sales, and Operations to improve

We provide a comprehensive range of electrical, lighting, industrial, data and telecommunications products, wire and cable, tools, and safety equipment.As part of The Will Group, we are proud of our entrepreneurial spirit, collaborative culture, and commitment to creating opportunities for people to grow and succeed.What You'll DoAs our Billing Specialist, you'll play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the timely processing of customer and vendor transactions.Your responsibilities will include:Process and verify inventory invoices, utilities, rent, expense reports, and other vendor payments.Establish and maintain vendor records in Epicor Eclipse.Review vendor statements, investigate discrepancies, and communicate regarding invoice and payment status.Monitor open orders and investigate past-due ship dates.Process and reconcile vendor rebates, special pricing agreements, and related adjustments.Review customer invoices for accuracy, including billing for key accounts.Research and resolve customer billing, pricing, payment, and account discrepancies.Process customer credit card and other payments and accurately apply them to open invoices.Monitor accounts receivable aging and proactively follow up on outstanding balances.Communicate professionally with customers regarding invoices, payment status, and account issues.Prepare customer statements, collection notices, and other account communications.Perform monthly accounts receivable reconciliations and assist with financial reporting.Partner with Accounting, Sales, Operations, and other departments to resolve issues and improve processes.What We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree or coursework in accounting, finance, or business is preferred.Two or more years of experience in billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or a related accounting function preferred.Epicor Eclipse experience required.Experience with ERP or accounting software.Strong understanding of billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and basic accounting principles.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.Strong communication and customer service skills when working with customers, vendors, and internal teams.Experience in wholesale distribution, construction, utility, or a similar business environment is a plus.What We OfferWe believe our people are our greatest asset.
