Job summary

Integrated HomeCare Services (IHCS) is hiring for a Billing & Collections support role focused on special projects, duplicate account review, and eligibility verification. You will help maintain accurate billing records and insurance data in our home care systems.

We value strong communication, independent work habits, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Spanish language skills are a plus; a Medical Biller/Coder certification is highly desired.

Qualifications

• 1 year of healthcare billing and coding support experience within Home Care Services preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use various computer programs and applications, i.e. EMR/EHR.
• Ability to self-motivate and work independently.
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively.
• Bilingual Spanish a plus.
• Medical Biller/Coder certification highly desired.

Responsibilities

• This role supports and assists both Billing and Collections department in special projects.
• Reviews, identifies and updates duplicate member accounts, insurance eligibility and updates billing records.
