Job summary

Integrated HomeCare Services (IHCS) is seeking a Payment Poster to manage posting for DME and Health Home payers in a fast-paced home care setting. You will help ensure revenue integrity through timely and accurate posting in line with company guidelines.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in healthcare payment posting, billing interpretation, and CPT/ICD coding knowledge, with experience using EMR/EHR systems and medical billing services. IHCS values collaboration and excellence.

Qualifications

• 1 year: Payment posting experience required.
• 1 year: Ability to interpret billing procedures and assimilate information to computer.
• 1 year: Extensive knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 codes.
• 1 year: Medical billing service experience.

Responsibilities

• Post payments for DME and Health Home payers.

What will you be doing:

The Payment Poster performs multiple responsibilities related to payment and adjustment for DME and Health Home payers. This position promotes revenue integrity by ensuring timely and accurate posting of accounts and maintains posting per company guidelines.

What will you need to succeed:

• 1 yar of Healthcare Payment Posting Experience Required
• Minimum of one-year experience in medical billing service
• Ability to interpret billing procedures and changes and assimilate information to computer.
• Ability to use various computer programs and applications, IE EMR/EHR
• Extensive knowledge of CPT and ICD9 codes.
• Experience in Medicare and Managed Care, Third Party payers, PIP, filing claims by electronic method, etc. Knowledge of governmental legal and regulatory provisions related to collection activities. (Preferred)
