Job summary

Integrated Home Care Services (IHCS) is seeking a Supervising Billing Specialist to lead medical claims review and processing for our home health services. The role focuses on accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT/HCPCS coding and timely submission to health plans.

You will coach and develop staff, train on new processes and client implementations, and ensure compliance with company policies. Proficiency with automated billing systems and Microsoft Office is required for success.

Qualifications

• 2 years of healthcare billing, collections & coding experience.
• Experience coaching and developing staff.
• Experience training new employees and handling client implementations.
• Experience with automated billing systems.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements and corporate policies.

Responsibilities

• Review and process all medical claims timely and accurately.
• Assign/review ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS codes for outpatient records.
• Enter and review claims in billing system; obtain missing documentation from PCP.

What will you be doing:

The Supervisor is responsible for reviewing and processing all medical claims to the health plan in a timely and accurate manner. The candidate should be able to demonstrate a high level of analytical and problem-solving skills to accurately assign/review ICD-10-CM, CPR and HCPCS code to outpatient medical records. Enters and reviews claims into billing system, reviews missing documentation and request/obtain appropriate information from the PCP

What will you need to succeed:

• Level I High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in healthcare billing, collections & coding.
• Experience with automated billing systems.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Must have previous experience coaching and/or developing staff.
• Must have experience training new employees, handling product changes and new client implementations.
• Required to uphold the principles of compliance as outlined in the Code of Conduct, Employee Handbook and related policies and procedures. Supports and participates in the mandatory Corporate Compliance Program training initiative on an annual or more frequent basis, as required.
