Job summary

Integrated Home Care Services, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist to support Billing and Collections in special projects, reviewing records and ensuring clean claims.

The role focuses on accuracy, timely processing, and collaboration with care teams to optimize revenue cycles. The position requires 1 year of healthcare billing experience in home care, strong communication, and proficiency with EMR/EHR systems; bilingual Spanish helps; certification is desirable.

Qualifications

• 1 year of healthcare billing and coding support experience in Home Care Services preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with EMR/EHR software.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task.
• Spanish bilingual a plus.
• Medical Biller/Coder certification preferred.

Responsibilities

What will you be doing:

This role supports and assist both Billing and Collections department in special projects. Reviews, identifies and updates duplicate member
accounts, insurance eligibility and updates billing records.

What will you need to succeed:

• 1 year of healthcare billing and coding support experience within Home Care Services preferred
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use various computer programs and applications, IE EMR/EHR
• Ability to self-motivate and work independently.
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
• Bilingual Spanish a plus
• Medical Biller/Coder certification highly desired
