Job summary

CLA is seeking a Central Billing Coordinator to manage client billing and practice management across services, collaborating with CRLs and engagement teams to ensure timely, accurate invoices and to resolve billing discrepancies.

The role supports revenue cycle activities, monitors billing trends, prepares reports, and maintains accurate records; a background in billing or accounting and proficiency with Workday or PSA software are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years of related administrative experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of billing or accounting preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's in Business Administration or Finance preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with Workday or similar PSA software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaboration with CRLs and engagement teams to gain billing knowledge and suggest bill amounts for standard and out-of-scope work.
• Continuously review billing information to identify discrepancies or errors and maintain accurate billing records.
• Stay up to date on billing regulations and trends and compare billing rates and job specifics across the firm.
• Process and monitor invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness and prepare reports on billing activities and trends.
• Participate in other billing-related matters and assist with new client setup, data validation, and billing schedules.
• Assist with revenue cycle management tasks including AR posting, AR adjustments, and related data updates.
