Vital Care Infusion Services in Pennsylvania seeks a Reimbursement Supervisor to oversee patient referrals, insurance benefits investigations, prior authorizations, billing and collections. You will guide the Reimbursement Specialists, balance workloads, and drive KPIs while ensuring high-quality service.

The role requires 3+ years of supervision in infusion settings, strong Excel/data skills, and familiarity with CareTend and RCM Portal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 2–3 years of infusion setting experience.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisor experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team in processing new patient referrals, insurance benefits investigation and verifications, prior authorizations, billing, and collections.
• Manage Reimbursement Specialist schedules to reallocate resources to meet KPIs. Track workload distribution and conduct ongoing needs assessments to identify staffing opportunities.
• Serve as an escalation agent for the team to resolve franchise partner or patient complaints.
• Implement operating procedures covering quality, compliance, and performance expectations.
• Monitor team results to evaluate quality and productivity and identify improvements.
• Collaborate with Payor/Benefit support programs to resolve missing claims and handle escalations.
• Implement customer service standards and mentor staff in customer service and collection techniques.
• Reconcile reimbursement checks against claims; balance workload and schedule accordingly.
• Audit transactions to ensure accuracy and escalate appropriately under policies and procedures.
• Interview, select, train, and mentor department associates; develop performance metrics.
• Provide counseling, cross-training, and coaching to associates; maintain positive relations.
