Job summary

Vital Care Infusion Services is seeking a Reimbursement Supervisor to plan for and manage Specialist positions, handling intake, billing, and collections. You will be the voice of the company with franchise partners, payers, and patients, driving service excellence.

You will oversee referrals, authorizations, and utilization of CareTend and the RCM Portal, with a focus on meeting KPIs, training staff, and maintaining compliant processes in a fast-paced infusion setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience is required in an infusion setting.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisor experience required.
• Knowledge of all Vital Care systems, including CareTend, and the RCM Portal.
• Knowledge of Payer Compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team in processing new patient referrals, insurance benefits investigation and verifications, prior authorizations, billing, and collections.
• Manage Reimbursement Specialist schedules to reallocate resources to meet KPIs and assess staffing opportunities.
• Serve as an escalation agent for franchise partner or patient complaints.
• Implement and maintain operating procedures covering quality, compliance, and performance expectations.
• Monitor results to ensure quality and productivity; identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Payor/Benefit support programs to resolve missing claims and handle escalations.
• Institute customer service standards and train staff in customer service and collection techniques.
• Balance workload and mentor team in patient insurance billing and authorizations.
• Audit transactions and resubmit rejections; review claims acceptance/rejection reports.
