Job summary

Vital Care Infusion Services seeks a supervising Reimbursement Specialist to lead intake, billing, and collections, acting as the company voice with franchises, payers, and patients.

You will oversee team scheduling, ensure KPI targets, resolve escalations, implement procedures, and mentor staff to improve performance. This full-time role offers benefits and growth across our U.S. network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience is required in an infusion setting.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisor experience required.
• Knowledge of Vital Care systems, including CareTend, and the RCM Portal.
• Knowledge of Payer Compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team in processing new patient referrals, insurance benefits investigation and verifications, prior authorizations, billing, and collections.
• Manage Reimbursement Specialist schedules to reallocate resources to meet KPIs.
• Serve as an escalation agent for franchise partner or patient complaints.
• Implement operating procedures covering quality, compliance, and performance expectations.
• Monitor team results to ensure quality and productivity targets.
• Collaborate with Payor/Benefit programs to resolve missing claims reports and escalations.
• Institute customer service standards and mentor staff in service and collection techniques.
• Reconcile reimbursement checks against claims when applicable.
• Balance workload and train staff to improve results and efficiency.
• Audit transactions for accuracy and escalate as needed.
• Interview, train, and coach department associates; set performance metrics.
• Provide counseling and cross-training to improve team performance.
• Maintain respectful employer relations.
