Job summary

RethinkFirst is seeking a Reconciliation Specialist to support our billing teams by reconciling therapy session reimbursements and posting payments in customer billing systems. You will work closely with insurance companies to ensure accurate accounts receivable and timely cash flow.

Defined responsibilities include reviewing EOBs/ERAs, posting payments across platforms, and reducing manual posting through ERA enrollment where applicable. Join a mission-driven team focused on autism care support.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of payment posting experience preferred.
• ABA experience is required or beneficial.
• Experience using insurance company portals/websites.
• Professional phone and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure HIPAA-compliant confidentiality for all client data.
• Reconcile payments posted from the clearinghouse.
• Post manual payments in billing platforms (Rethink, Tebra, Azalea).
• Review and interpret EOBs and ERAs.
• Post payments from insurance portals and enroll in ERAs when applicable.
