Job summary

RethinkFirst in Colorado is seeking a Reconciliation Specialist to support our billing services team by ensuring accurate reimbursement for therapy sessions and posting payments across our billing platforms.

You will maintain HIPAA-compliant confidentiality, review EOBs/ERAs, and collaborate with the AR team to identify underpayments and bring issues to resolution, contributing to reliable accounts receivable and improved client service.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years payment posting experience.
• ABA experience preferred.
• Experience using insurance company websites/portals.
• Must have excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure HIPAA-compliant confidentiality for all client data.
• Reconcile payments posted from the clearinghouse.
• Post manual payments in billing platforms (Rethink, Tebra, Azalea).
• Review and interpret EOBs and ERAs.
• Enroll in ERAs to reduce manual posting and monitor enrollment progress.
