McPherson Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Posting and Reconciliation Specialist to support accurate posting and reconciliation of ERA/EFT, EOB, and lockbox payments. The role focuses on ensuring patient balances are correct and payments posted with high accuracy.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma and has 1–2 years in medical payment posting or 2–4 years in Patient Financial Services, with solid experience in Excel, Outlook, and healthcare portals.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of medical payment posting/reconciliation or 2-4 years in Patient Financial Services.
• Experience with medical billing and insurance system processes.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and interpret EOB information to verify patient balances.
• Post and reconcile ERA/EFT, EOB, and lockbox payments with ≥98% accuracy.
• Collaborate with internal teams and carriers to monitor payment processes.
• Assist with credit/negative balances and communicate corrections to Billing & PFS teams.
• Perform routine AR days audits to keep metrics within thresholds.
