Job summary

RethinkFirst is seeking a Reconciliation Specialist to support our billing team in ensuring accurate reimbursement for therapy sessions. You will work with billing platforms, reconcile payments, and review EOBs and ERAs while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality.

The role requires 1–2 years of payment posting experience, strong attention to detail, and clear communication with insurance companies and internal teams.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years payment posting experience preferred.
• ABA experience is a plus.
• Experience using insurance portals/websites.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile payments posted electronically from the clearinghouse.
• Post manual payments in all billing platforms (Rethink, Tebra, Azalea).
• Review and interpret EOBs and ERAs.
• Post payments from insurance portals and enroll in ERAs as applicable.
• Communicate trends to AR team for client resolution.
• Identify underpayments/overpayments and coordinate with CBA & AR teams.
