Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems seeks a Billing Operations Analyst in Charlotte, NC to support billing readiness for a field service org. Hybrid schedule (3 onsite, 2 remote) with typical daytime hours and potential heavy workload at month/quarter ends.

Responsibilities include reviewing completed jobs for billing, cost postings, and coordinating with field offices. Strong Excel/Office skills and 5+ years of business experience are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5+ years of experience in a business environment
• 1+ year of experience using Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Review completed jobs to ensure they are ready for billing
• Verify customer authorization and service order/project completion
• Validate cost postings and correct errors as needed
• Move completed jobs into Ready to Bill status
• Monitor open orders daily and support month-end and quarter-end activities
• Communicate with field offices regarding job status, billing issues, and required corrections
• Participate in weekly Microsoft Teams meetings with assigned markets
• Monitor and manage invoice upload inboxes
• Assist with customer billing disputes and provide updates as needed
• Meet established performance metrics
• Identify opportunities to improve billing readiness processes
