Job summary

CLA, a top national professional services firm, is seeking a Central Billing Coordinator in Salt Lake City. You will collaborate with CRLs and engagement teams to manage invoices, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely, accurate billing across services.

The role emphasizes data validation, trend analysis, and proactive communication with clients. Ideal candidates have billing/accounting experience and proficiency with Workday or PSA systems, along with strong Office skills.

Qualifications

• 3 years of related administrative experience preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of billing or accounting preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's or Bachelor's in Business Administration or Finance preferred
• Advanced proficiency with Workday or similar PSA software is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is necessary

Responsibilities

• Collaboration with CRLs and engagement teams to understand billing expectations and industry standards.
• Analyze past billing and current trends to participate in billing discussions and suggest amounts for standard and out-of-scope work.
• Review billing information for discrepancies or errors and maintain accurate billing records and files.
• Process and monitor invoices for accuracy and completeness; ensure out-of-scope activities are billed appropriately.
• Prepare and submit reports on billing activities and trends.
• Assist with items such as new client setup, data validation, and maintenance of Billing Schedules.
• Monitor prepaid, installment and scheduled bills for client WIP consumption.
• Communicate with clients and CRLs to resolve billing issues.
• Support revenue cycle management activities including AR posting, data updates, AR adjustments, and AR helpdesk.
• Follow up on aging A/R and large WIP jobs with engagement leaders; support leadership with production, profitability analysis.
