Job summary

Jackson Lewis P.C. in Chicago seeks a Billing Manager to lead the billing process, ensuring timely, accurate invoice preparation, review, submission, and tracking.

You will oversee the Billing team, monitor KPIs, and coordinate with collections and stakeholders to support follow-up and escalations while driving process improvements. The role requires 5+ years in management and 2+ years of legal billing, with preferred Bachelor’s degree and knowledge of Aderant.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant managerial experience.
• 2+ years of legal billing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with Aderant billing systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead billing performance and KPI targets for the assigned team.
• Ensure client billing guidelines and eBilling requirements are met.
• Collaborate with collections to support follow-up and reporting.
• Oversee billing team development, training, and performance reviews.
• Manage billing system upgrades and workflows.
