Job summary

Jackson Lewis P.C. is seeking a Billing Manager to lead the billing process, oversee a Billing team, and ensure timely, accurate invoicing across our firm.

The role collaborates with collections and stakeholders to support follow-up, reporting, and escalations while driving process improvements and staff development. The ideal candidate will have extensive managerial billing experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and familiarity with Aderant and billing applications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of managerial experience in billing

Responsibilities

• Lead the billing process to meet timely, accurate invoice submission and tracking
• Oversee Billing team performance, KPI metrics, and eBilling processes
• Collaborate with collections and stakeholders on follow-up, reporting and escalations
• Support senior leadership with billing, eBilling tools, and project work
• Develop and train team on billing processes and client guidelines
• Ensure adherence to client billing guidelines and vendor platform requirements
• Monitor KPI metrics and monthly billing goals
• Manage team attendance, coverage, and continuity of service
• Review and resolve inconsistencies in billing work
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings for workload and development
• Provide oversight of eBilling submissions and escalation of systemic issues
• Educate team on eBilling requirements and submission standards
