Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Billing Supervisor to lead the billing staff in accurate and timely invoicing aligned with service contracts. The role enforces SOPs, governs billing workflow, and resolves complex billing questions across departments.

The position requires 3+ years in billing with leadership experience, MS Excel proficiency, and the ability to coach and train others while managing multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3 years of related billing experience at a progressively responsible level, including at least 1 year supervising others.

Responsibilities

• Supervise billing staff, including hiring, training, scheduling and performance management.
• Coordinate monthly invoicing, adjustments, and respond to billing questions and discrepancies.
• Develop local billing processes to ensure compliance with policies.
• Provide escalation support for complex billing issues and advise customers.
• Monitor billing reports and correct discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with credit, collections, and operations on billing matters.
• Assist with manual billings for non-routine arrangements.
• Summarize supplemental billing information as needed.
