Responsibilities include coordinating monthly billing, resolving billing questions, tracking accounts receivable, processing payments, and producing management reports; candidates should have strong Excel skills and experience with legal billing

Qualifications

• Experience in billing, accounting, or a related administrative role; law firm experience desirable.
• Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with attorneys, staff, and clients.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other office software; experience with legal billing software desirable.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information and manage competing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly billing, including preparation, review, corrections, and distribution of client invoices.
• Work with attorneys and staff to resolve billing questions and maintain accurate client and matter records.
• Monitor accounts receivable, assist with collections, and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Process and record client payments and prepare daily bank deposits.
• Prepare billing and accounts receivable reports for firm management.
• Assist with month-end reconciliations and support improvements to billing procedures and systems.
