Job summary

Maxim is seeking a Billing Specialist to accurately perform billing processes for assigned locations, using multiple computer systems to enter, extract, and compile records such as timecards, purchase orders, invoices, and sales tickets.

You will calculate amounts due, assist with invoice preparation, post transactions to customer accounts, ensure information for follow-up on outstanding invoices, and support other department functions as needed in a typical office setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of billing or accounts reconciliation experience.
• Must be able to read and write simple correspondence and communicate effectively.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Enter, extract, and compile records to support customer billing (timecards, purchase orders, invoices, sales tickets).
• Accurately calculate amounts due.
• Assist with preparation of invoices to customers.
• Post transactions to customer accounting records.
• Ensure information is available for follow-up on outstanding invoices.
• Learn other department functions to provide support as needed.
• Perform filing and other clerical duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
